This company are looking for an experienced Event Manager to join their International Conference Management agency. This role will enable the candidate to further develop their skills in the end to end project management of both in-person and digital events.

Their events are delivered to audiences around the globe in Europe, Middle East, Africa, North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific and the role therefore involves extensive travel and periods away from home.

Their team is known for their passion for events and is consistently described by clients as 'part of the wider team - not only a supplier, but partners'. They have successfully transitioned their original offering of in-person events into the digital world, though they cannot wait to get back on road again. Their expansion plans are ambitious and they are looking for a new colleague who will become an integral part of the delivery of their plans.

Ideally, you will be located within a one-hour commute of Rye

Candidates must have:
- A minimum of 3 years' event management experience ideally with an event agency
- A proven track record of managing high value and high-end events
- Excellent budgeting skills including experience with managing budgets in multiple currencies
- Excellent written skills with a good level of competency with spelling and grammar
- Excellent computer skills and experience of digital conference solutions
- A practical head
- High levels of attention to detail and be well-organised and accurate
- An 'Above the Line' attitude and a proactive, confident, solutions-driven approach
- Great people and communication skills and be a highly motivated team player that enjoys working as part of a small team
- Resilience and be able to face problems by providing solutions

…it would be absolutely amazing if you also:
- Had virtual events management experience with ability to use various virtual platforms
- Were able to communicate fluently in either Spanish, Mandarin, or French
