Where they have a large number of franchise sites representing Audi, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, SEAT, KODA, Volkswagen passenger car and Commercial Vehicles, where they pride themselves in delivering excellent customer service and experiences through their dedicated experienced and manufacturer qualified staff.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the Dealership Accountant will support their busy team over a 3-month period. Role location is flexible across their Cheltenham & Gloucester sites, with some travel required.

Role Responsibilities:

The role of the Dealership Accountant is to maintain an efficient and methodical system in all matters which relate to the management accounts production and related matters, preparing and submitting dealer composite reports to manufacturer in an accurate and timely manner. To ensure vehicle sales and purchase transactions are processed accurately, assisting departmental managers in the understanding of financial matters. To ensure accurate records are kept and maintained daily, maintaining clarity and precision in all transactions and recording and passing all messaged expeditiously and accurately.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Computer literate in all MS programmes
• Good organisation and the ability to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
• Responsible for production of the management accounts and control over the balance sheet.
• Working with management in the day to day controls across the dealerships.


Experience

3 Years dealership experience required.
