Dealership Accountant - Head Office & Motorcycles -Cheltenham
Permanent, full time role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the Dealership Accountant will manage their Head Office and Motorcycle sites. Role location is flexible across their Cheltenham & Gloucester sites, with some travel required.
The role of the Dealership Accountant is to maintain an efficient and methodical system in all matters which relate to the management accounts production and related matters, preparing and submitting dealer composite reports to manufacturer in an accurate and timely manner. To ensure vehicle sales and purchase transactions are processed accurately, assisting departmental managers in the understanding of financial matters. To ensure accurate records are kept and maintained daily, maintaining clarity and precision in all transactions and recording and passing all messaged expeditiously and accurately
Essential Skills & Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
•Computer literate in all MS programmes
•Good organisation and the ability to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
•Able to identify and implement new controls and processes.
•Proactively working with management to reshape the business and identify opportunities.
•Ability to provide support to the Group FC & FD in production of the Head office Accounts and other financial responsibilities or projects.
•Able to travel and work flexibly between sites.
•3 Years dealership experience required.
