Full Time Maternity Cover until May 2019

Our Client is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 18,000 students every year.

They are looking for a Data Officer to join them on a temporary basis, covering maternity leave. This position represents the data and funding of the whole college group meaning you will work across FE, HE, apprenticeship, 14-16 cohort and commercial units.

Within the role you will oversee and monitor the Data team functions and processes to ensure operational excellence and data quality and credibility. Managing your staff to ensure quality and consistency of the process across the group, in order that service level agreements and performance indicators are maintained, you will review and report on performance. Conducting data cleansing routines for the whole group, you will ensure compliance against funding policies, learner eligibility policies and audit guidance, interpreting any changes and amending processes as necessary.

They are looking for someone who has experience of data analysis and interpretation, coupled with experience of preparing for and undergoing funding and quality audits. With a relevant Level 4 qualification and recent CPD, you will have an understanding of education and the related quality assurance processes.

Strong leadership and management skills are key, as is having the ability to collate, analyse, interpret and report on data. With a strong strategic vision for improving and enhancing the student experience, you will be able to deal with new concepts and will be an excellent communicator.
