Customer Services Representative / Customer Services Centre Assistant          

Part time hours - a total of 25 hours per week

Louth, Lincolnshire

£12,227 per annum, plus an unsocial hours allowance

  

Our client manages and builds quality affordable homes across the East and West Midlands. They are a major new group made up of three high performing housing associations in the region, managing over 18,000 homes and aiming to build 1,000 new homes each year.

  

They are looking for a Customer Services Centre Assistant to join their team! You will assist in the effective and efficient operation of our clients 24/7 Customer Services Centre.

Your main duties will be to receive all calls (including emergency calls), promptly and refer to the appropriate officer or agency. Liaise with Fire, Police, Ambulance or other emergency services as necessary. You will also be responsible, whilst working alone, for the smooth operation of the Emergency Customer Services Centre during each period of duty.

You will monitor calls from group dwellings during the Warden/Scheme Manager's absence, and maintain a record of wardens going on' and off' site. You will record jobs onto the relevant system, receive, input and process repairs reports from tenants, by telephone, letter e-mail or personal call and deal with queries on outstanding repairs.

You will receive all out of hours telephone calls in respect of emergency housing repairs for the group and deal with these as appropriate, liaising with on call staff, contractors and any other agency as required. Additionally, you will also be required to carry out out of hours' administration for other departments.

The ideal candidate for this role will have 5 GCSE's (including Maths and English at Grade C or above). You will have previous experience within a customer services environment. Ideally you will have worked closely with customers in the past. You will be an excellent communicator, highly organised, results driven and proactive. You must have a natural commitment to customer service and self improvement also. Knowledge of up to date housing legislation is desirable though not essential.
