This company is searching for a motivated and experienced Customer Service Manager to lead their customer service department. Your goal will be to provide outstanding customer service to their customers by developing effective customer service procedures and setting customer satisfaction goals.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a customer service position, with excellent knowledge of the latest industry trends and techniques. In addition to being an excellent communicator (written and verbal), you will also demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Main responsibilities
- Taking ownership of the customer service team providing leadership and vision
- Lead from the front instilling a culture of can-do attitude; customer service; responsibility and team work.
- Adopt company vision and foster a team culture that always has the best interests of the company and its employees
- Mentor and develop the team making sure all staff have the resource and training to be effective. Give all staff clear guidance on what is expected of them and provide frequent feedback and recognition.
- Responsible for delivering agreed performance targets
- Design, development and implement best procedures that challenges the norm to make business improvements which drive customer and commercial benefit
- Strive for continuous improvement in an efficient and flexible working environment
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports of team performance
- Recognise trends and make recommendations as appropriate
- Commercial awareness - being reactive to sales trends and encouraging alternative and linked sales

Desired skills
- Good understanding of management practices and techniques
- Communication skills that allow you to inform, help and advise customers clearly and to liaise effectively with other professionals
- Listening skills, to understand exactly what customers require
- Problem-solving skills
- Confidence, patience, politeness, tact and diplomacy, when dealing with difficult situations
- Creative thinking, to be able to come up with new ideas to improve customer service standards
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Team Player
- Organisational and planning skills to develop customer service policies
- Good personal presentation
- A commitment to improve your customer service skills on an ongoing basis.
