Elevation Recruitment Group Business Support are exclusively supporting a global, precision engineering and manufacturing business as they enhance their Sheffield site with the appointment of a Customer Service Manager

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Customer Service Manager from a manufacturing environment to enhance and develop their existing skills base by gaining key exposure to the supply chain processes.

The core purpose of the role is to ensure the business meets and exceeds customer service level targets at the lowest overall cost for an assigned portfolio of customer accounts. This should be achieved via the leadership and management of work flows through the business and into the customer

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

-Review, update and challenge customer order schedules
-Lead customer forecast and S&OP processes ensuring the business has a minimum rolling demand visibility of 12 months and sufficient order coverage
-Contribute to and support business S&OP process specifically in relation to customer demand
-Lead on projects and change control initiatives
-Act as the voice of the customer
-Drive prompt dispositioning and action on all justified customer returns
-Contribute to weekly meetings
-Load new, amend existing and issue confirmations for customer orders within the ERP system
-Maintain ERP system data integrity
-Lead customer service elements of customer and regulatory audits
-Communicate and own multiple KPI's across the department
-Proactively contribute to the development of the supply chain in terms of service and improvement and overall cost reduction

Key Skills Required

-Demonstrated experience within a key account/customer service management and / or programme management role
-Experience using a business ERP system in a manufacturing environment
