Customer Repairs Coordinator (Customer Service, Administrator) MEAR62032




Our client delivers estate services; including gas servicing, grounds maintenance, cleaning, repairs and maintenance. They care for over 5000 properties spanning over 11 local authority areas in South Wales.


An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Customer Repairs Coordinator to join them in Caerphilly.


Within this role, you will be responsible for answering calls from tenants; raising and recording repairs work orders and booking appointments and allocating works to the available engineer and following repairs works from start through to completion.


You will liaise with tenants and operatives in order to ensure works are completed within the designated timescale, dispatching operatives to jobs, receiving updates from operatives.


This position is for a dynamic and enthusiastic person with good geographical knowledge of United Welsh stock, who can plan and coordinate people and tasks, with the ability to think on their feet.


With extensive experience in a customer focussed environment, you will be efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise own work load. You must also be a great team player with an enthusiastic and proactive approach to meeting deadlines and budgets even when facing difficulties. An excellent telephone manner is also essential with the ability to converse confidently with tenants, trades operatives, contractors and housing association employees.


Excellent IT skills are important; with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
