Customer Care Advisor - Warrington

Salary: £19-20k

Hours: Monday-Friday 1pm-9pm

Our Clients is one of the UK’s premier parcel and carrier management and they have an exciting opportunity has arisen in the Operations team for an Operations Support Executive to join the team in Warrington.
The successful candidate must be reliable, good communicator, be able to work harmoniously as a member of a small close knit team, and have the ability to work with external suppliers, as well as internal colleagues, to ensure operational excellence.

Daily Duties:
Develop a detailed understanding of the services and products offered by the company
Pro-actively manage the collection activity and log all issues
Track third party suppliers to ensure collections are being made to schedule
Take corrective action where variances to schedule are identified and record any costs incurred
Inform customers of any variation to their scheduled collection advising of impact, if any, on the service offering
Set up additional ad-hoc and scheduled collections with 3rd party suppliers and carriers Advise and update the businesses consolidation points of any changes to planned schedules
Provide ‘out of hours’ weekend operational cover
Pro-actively manage weekend collections ensuring they are being made to schedule and advise customers and consolidation points
Resolve weekend collection issues and where there will be a service impact advise the relevant account manager
To liaise with Account Managers to highlight and resolve issues with customers
Develop good working relations with customers and suppliers by telephone, emails and face-to-face throughout the UK

Skills & Experience required:

Experience of working in customer facing roles
Ability to communicate and influence suppliers to deliver a premium service
Must have strong Customer Service Skills
Good level of English & Maths
Good IT skills : Outlook, Word, Excel
Strong written and communication skills
Experience in the parcel industry is desirable but not essential
