Elevation Recruitment Group Accountancy & Finance have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic Credit Controller to join a key client in Worksop, supporting their Transactional Finance function as a result of growth through a very impressive 2019!
The successful candidate will be an approachable, confident & progressive individual, looking for a role where you can really get stuck in and make it your own.
You will be responsible for calling clients who have outstanding debt and invoices owed to the business and be responsible for collecting the amounts, as well as dealing with a high volume of complex queries (incorrect amounts on invoices, credits, change of orders, refunds etc.)

Duties & Responsibilities Include:
-General collection activity and account reconciliation with customers via telephone, email and letter
-Working with the finance team to reduce the backlog of unresolved invoice queries and misallocations
-Working with customers and chasing query resolutions
-Ensuring reconciliations, cash allocations and customer notes are up-to-date
-Creating invoices for the various companies and processing the detail to the relevant ledger
-Posting/printing/sending - daily invoices for all companies
-Ensuring all queries are logged in the query log/customer reconciliations and updated in a timely manner
-Raising and issuing approved credit notes
