Satarah Recruitment are recruiting for a Customer Services Collector (Credit Controller) for our client based in Wellingborough.
* Contact customers whose agreements are in arrears primarily by telephone daily
* Open a line of communication with new customers in customer support calls
* Produce and copy documents for individual customers as/when required
* Liaise with external agents and Brokers sending relevant files to keep updated
* Update the procedures manual as and when required.
* Updating and managing databases.
* Carry out searches using various reference agencies and update as required.
* Maintain working relationships with brokers.
* Responsible for effectively and timely processing of rejected payments, including but not limited to rescheduling direct debit payments
* Generate relevant letters including arrears, default, termination, EOL letters
* Cover/assist wider team members as and when required.
* Ensure smooth diary management for collections.
The Ideal Candidate
* Good team player
* Highly numerate with strong accounts/credit control knowledge
* Excellent communication skills/telephone manner
* Strong negotiating skills and ability to work well under pressure
* Able to work to deadlines with accuracy and precision
* Able to prioritise tasks and good time management skills
* PC Literacy and knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
* 35 Hours a week (Mon - Friday, 9am-5pm)
