Our client is now looking for a Credit Control Assistant in their Homes and Enterprises division.
As Credit Control Assistant, you will carry out transactional work such as account reviews covering direct debits and non-payment of domestic energy bills.
Adhering to internal processes and risk frameworks, you will produce weekly reports showing activity on accounts that are in arrears and liaise with external parties to manage the debt collection process. You will regularly review aged debt to maximise cash collection and carry out other related administration duties to include filing, scanning and emailing customers.
So, if you are educated to GCSE level at Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths and can demonstrate the ability to succeed in a complex and dynamic environment, then they want to hear from you! Experience working as a Collections Assistant or in a credit management role would be a distinct advantage, but it is not essential - what’s more important is a strong customer focus, proficiency in Microsoft Office and a friendly yet professional telephone manner.
