I am currently recruiting for a school based on the outskirts of Maidstone The role is going to be working as a Cook Supervisor to work in one of their Primary Schools catering for up to 200 pupils plus 1 special dietary requirement - Phenylketonuria (PKU) providing 1 service per day. This role will require the successful candidate to work 30 hours per week 8am - 2.30pm, Monday - Friday Term time only Key elements of the role are: Take full responsibility for the provision of 1 PKU diet to a satellite service area To plan, operate and control production and service of food related duties To take responsibility for the standard of cleanliness and hygiene of premises and equipment To order all food and other commodities required from designated suppliers To operate and control stocks, stock records and to ensure correct completion and submission of all returns and records Previous catering experience within a similar educational environment Supervisory skills Ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative Good verbal and written communication skills The ability to adapt to change and take on different tasks and when required Relevant professional catering qualification If you feel that this is the role for you then please apply today !!
