Contract Co_Ordinator - Agecroft (M6 6JH ) Location - Agecroft (M6 6JH ) Duration - Ongoing Hours - 7:30-5 45 hour week Salary Company - our client is a market leader within the Aggregates , Tarmac and Quarry sectors Role - The successful candidate will be required to co-ordinate, in conjunction with Contract Manager and Supervisors, the efficient organisation of labour/plant resources. Order external plant at lowest cost, maintain records of hire plus on/off details. Organise internal/external plant to meet supervisors requirements. Organise internal transport (low loaders, lorries, fuel bowsers) as efficiently as possible. Hire external transport when required. Allocate labour on daily basis in conjunction with Contract Manager or Supervisor. Undertake daily ordering of materials, check deliveries and notify management of problems. Assist in problem solving. Input material into computer cost system. Issue purchase orders for miscellaneous materials at lowest possible price. Check day work/waiting time claims for delivery vehicles. Arrange inspection of transport vehicles to comply with DoT requirements. Work as part of a team to meet the company?s objectives. Build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, subcontractors and suppliers. Liaise with customers to develop relationships that provide a high standard of service.
