The Role

Answering calls from members to give advice on PRS, and replying to emails/tickets for members of the RLA. Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Role Responsibilities:

Answering calls from members to give advice on PRS

Log calls accurately on the help desk

Answering Live chat queries from members

Achieve maximum score on all audits (weekly)

Ensure DPA is carried out in line with company policy

Dealing with email queries

Replying to member queries via the forum

Liaise with other departments & carry out general administration duties as required

Participate/ bring queries to monthly team meetings

Regular self-learning/teaching of the landlord and tenant legislation/ reading updated guides from RLA website and other reading journals provided

Attending regular training courses provided by RLA trainers or external trainers in relation to the role

Any other ad hoc duties delegated by the Manager

Essential Skills & Requirements:

Administration/Office experience

Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

Professional telephone manner including dealing with queries

Computer literate, with day to day general use of Excel, Microsoft Office

Ability to work within a team as well as individually

Attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure

Able to digest information quickly and translate to members in a clear manner

Data entry experience

Customer Service skills

Knowledge of the Private Rented Sector

May have worked within the private rented sector or Social Housing
