Our client is now looking for a Consumption Data Administrator to ensure an accurate and complete set of data is available for billing, financial and industry purposes.

As their Consumption Data Administrator, you will validate Daily Metered (DM) meter reads to ensure that sites are billed accurately and identify incorrect volumes billed, reconciling data discrepancies on a regular basis. You will raise and manage the resolution of data queries with internal departments, review the relevant files to ensure that DM data has been received and processed and ensure that data for directly connected sites is processed in a timely manner. The Consumption Data Administrator will also analyse the daily failures following the upload of data into the billing system, provide daily management reports in preparation for the bill run and resolve assigned exceptions.

So, if you have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service in a billing environment, then they would love to hear from you!

With strong numerical skills and a keen eye for detail, you will have a good understanding of the billing and validation processes and demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving. You’ll need to be results focused, have good organisational skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office.

Our client is a leading energy and services group employing 20,000 people in the UK. They are using their energy and services capabilities to lead the UK’s transition towards a more secure and sustainable future, through a strategy based on investment in critical energy infrastructure, integration of its energy expertise with its broad services offer, and innovation in customer-led solutions and technologies. The business has well-established and diverse operations that span the exploration and production of gas and oil; on-shore gas storage; generating power as one of the UK’s largest independent power producers; providing power and gas to thousands of businesses; and delivering services to more than 14,000 customer sites across the public and private sector.
