Compliance Analyst – Newcastle
A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Analyst to join our FCA Compliance team in our Newcastle office. The position is offered on a permanent basis, working Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00.
About the team
Our FCA Compliance team ensures that, as a firm, we are in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Financial Conduct Authority, Data Protection Act, Money Laundering and other applicable regulatory requirements. They work closely with our team of Financial Advisors and their support teams in our subsidiary company, Womble Bond Dickinson Wealth Limited.

What will you be doing?
This is an important and varied job role, and as such you'll quickly take responsibility for supporting the achievement of the Compliance programme, maintaining regulatory logs, producing and analysing monthly KPI data for advisors and assisting in the production of regulatory returns. You'll also be required to check client files for document management, carry out various month end system checks and audit activity as required.
So, what are we looking for?
It goes without saying that you'll have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and be able to learn how to use new systems. You'll also need to have experience of financial services within an IFA environment. Due to the varied nature of the role it's essential that you have an eye for detail, can act on initiative and are able manage your time effectively. Telephone and written communication skills are a must as you'll be dealing with various stakeholders throughout the business.
