Elevation Office Support are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager for a Manufacturing business, whom are based in Derbyshire. Please note; all applicants MUST have a Manufacturing/Engineering background.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the internal sales processes through collaboration with key stake holders both externally and internally. You must be customer focused individual with an appreciation of engineering & manufacturing processes to ensure all KPI and metrics are met.
Core Accountabilities & Duties:
- Take ownership of specified customers to support the UK Sales Manager and develop processes to grow the position of the business - Handle the processing of all order types (contractual, out of contract, spot) with accuracy and timeliness - Ensure daily hedging of lead products are calculated and supplied to hedging team - Ensure logistics and sales planning is coordinated with operations team - Track monthly KPI through sales tracking tools and develop performance indicators - Monitor and report variations to budget and forecast by customer and product, including margins - Liaise with UK Sales Manager to develop specific sales strategies - Resolve customer complaints with support from quality team and internal stake holders - Stay abreast of export legislation and ensure compliance of all documentation - Suggest sales process improvements as appropriate - Actively participate in weekly European commercial calls - Prepare quotations and contracts to support UK Sales Manager - Gather market information via customer contact
