Job Title: Commercial Director

Reports to: General Manager
Provide Commercial Management across the multi Channel UK Business.
Enhance and maintain margin generation through strategic pricing policy. Provide sales team with infrastructure to sell high Margin Products. Promote a client focussed mindset within Customer service centre. Management of Internal Customer Services Team. Commercial adjudication on all new project opportunities to evaluate viability / profitability and capability.
Strong Commercial Skillset, with minimum 5 years experience at director / senior Management level.
Strong IT literacy with experience in Excel, Powerpoint, Office,
Experience of managing people and working with both superior and subordinate colleagues
Experience required in providing professional structured responses to our extensive client base.
Responsible for introducing and coordinating the bid response process, developing and maintaining a knowledge base of ‘standard’ answers and templates, as well as identifying ways to improve the quality, consistency and efficiency of the bid response process.
Work with senior stakeholders to create an infrastructure to support best in class customer service, whilst maximising profit opportunities through quality and reliable project management.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills, especially written English grammar, spelling & vocabulary, combined with the ability to understand technical concepts and tender questions then provide clear concise responses whilst working to tight deadlines and challenging targets.
Compile, edit, and proof read commercial proposals which contain technical content and designs ensuring that these are presented in a professional and concise manner
Determine the scope and timeline of new bids.
Develop computer based document store and reference materials, including company policy statements, accreditations, certifications and compliance documentation.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Linguistic skills would be an advantage
Team and action oriented; proactive in prioritising own work load and assigned areas of responsibility to others
Able to influence assertively to get results.
