This utilities company is recruiting for a Commercial Administrator for their Rochdale office.

Tasks/Job Spec:
- Raising and processing of Non-contestable Cheques/Payments.
- Processing of non contestable Payments.
- Logging of Non-Contestable Payments.
- Monitor provision of Free Issue Smart Metering.
- Assisting Gas and Electric department with MPRN/MPAN process.
- Assist clients with design/commercial related queries or ensuring queries are forwarded to relevant employee.
- Assist Directors on various Commercial/Design aspects.
- Monitoring of Barbour ABI for any future Tender opportunities.
- Collate Tender opportunities from Barbour ABI.
- Ensure compliance with company systems, processes and procedures.
- Provide efficient administrative support to the gas, electric and water design team
- Liaising with clients, utility companies to progress design activities.
- Processing client communications and technical filing on to business systems
- Recording and processing technical/design data, updating design trackers and providing design reports and information to the Design Manager
- Support Commercial handovers
- Preparing information for client and senior management meetings.
- Perform general administration duties to include but not limited to photocopying, scanning, mailing and filing.
- Maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems.
- The role holder may from time to time be required to undertake reasonable additional or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business.

Person Specification:
- Experienced administrative background.
- A strong communicator across all internal and external stakeholders.
- Positive approach to customer and clients.
- A proactive approach to solving problems and seeking information is required.
- PC Literate with good experience using Microsoft programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
- High quality customer service with a positive approach to all stakeholders
- Dedicated to providing high quality administrative support and project coordination
- A team player with the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and plan to meet tight deadlines to achieve required targets is essential
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
