My client is currently looking to recruit a talented and experienced Software Developer to join their Leeds based development group of 20 engineers. Multi-disciplinary project teams are used to develop innovative products for international markets. Working within a small company provides experience of all stages of the product lifecycle.
Possessing an honours degree in a relevant subject, the candidate will be an innovative individual with excellent technical experience and motivation. The role will involve the development of C# applications for desktop, mobile and web based systems. A strong background in Silverlight development is required, although applications will be considered from candidates with good C# development skills. Experience of developing applications for Android would be extremely advantageous.
Most important is an enthusiasm for new technologies, an ability to learn quickly and a desire to contribute in a fast moving, innovative team environment.

Essential experience:

• 4+ years relevant commercial software development

• 3+ years C# / .NET

• Demonstrable UI design

Beneficial experience:

• Silverlight

• Web Development

• MVVM design pattern

• WPF

• Android Application development

• GIS or Web Mapping

• Working alongside embedded software and hardware engineers

Salary: £30 - £44k DOE + excellent benefits package
