Our client is a global leader in its industry with over 100 locations throughout the world, they help companies' profits by creating opportunities, solving problems and reducing risk.

Due to expansion a temporary opportunity has arisen for an experienced manufacturing systems administrator to configure, maintain and improve the existing ERP system, in order to facilitate performance monitoring and management across the business.

Key responsibilities;

  • Analyse and resolve Manufacturing ERP issues and queries.
  • Work with ERP supplier and internal IT support on any major code fixes / changes that are required that impact Manufacturing.
  • Maintenance of security model for Manufacturing ERP.
  • Responsible for the configuration and documentation of the Manufacturing ERP system.
  • Regularly review appropriateness of business systems supporting the end to end Manufacturing process.
  • Ensure that the system capability is sufficient for the requirements of the business.
  • Work closely with the Senior BI Analyst on reporting requirements.
  • Maintain ERP ensure system cleansing and updates are carried out
  • Support process and policy improvements
  • Build and format system improvements, including design changes, software testing, documentation and the management of end-user testing and solution sign off.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports to track performance against plan and KPIs.
  • Carry out ad hoc projects identifying update and improvement requirements in line with evolving business needs.

Key attributes;

  • Degree qualification (or equivalent) highly desirable
  • Qualifications that demonstrate analytical capability
  • Must have manufacturing experience
  • Must have proven experience and knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
  • Knowledge of Movex would be an advantage
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the company
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to analyse the route cause of problems
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Strong quality ethos, continually looking at how things can be improved
  • Demonstrate a positive and effective approach to implementing change and improvement
  • Highly numerate and with a strong attention to detail
