This company is a long established independent family-run business. Established in 1982, they have nearly 40 years experience of employing local people and are committed providing excellent customer service to their strong customer base across Yorkshire.

You will be a focal point for administration for all departments, ensuring that their customer service is of outstanding quality, daily activity is efficient and work between departments is cohesive. You will gain an in-depth knowledge of the business. You will oversee employee performance in the admin team and take corrective action where necessary.

Main responsibilities
- Managing the performance and continuous development of the administration team.
- Ensuring excellent customer service through effective telephone and administrative support to clients.
- Take ownership for dealing with escalated queries and complaints from customers, seeing these through to a satisfactory conclusion with a focus on customer experience
- Lead and inspire your team to promote a customer centric and service driven culture
- Role model key skills and behaviours when dealing with customers

Must have experience of
- Managing, developing and influencing people
- Managing projects

Must be:
- Excellent communicator
- Highly organised and able to effectively manage conflicting and competing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint and Teams)

Knowledge and qualifications
- Extensive administrative experience
- Experience of leadership and management of support services

Personal attributes and behaviours
- Professional approach
- Flexible with the ability to work around changing business needs
