BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – FOODSERVICE
£26,000 - £28,000 + UNCAPPED BONUS + CAR + MOBILE + LAPTOP + PENSION + 25 DAYS HOLS + BHs
My client is exceptional successful and entrepreneurial Foodservice distributor who pride themselves on their non-corporate approach to their employees. They are now part of a market-leading foodservice business, however, still retain their independent ethos. They are a progressive, growing and forward-thinking business. We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to take the reins of the Cumbria/Preston area.
The Role
- 50% of your role will be prospecting for new business and 50% account management
- To maintain and maximise the profitability of existing Independent Accounts
- To actively seek and acquire new business within agreed geographical target areas
- To achieve targets set by Line Manager
- To provide excellent levels of customer service and account management
- To work closely with Key and National Account Managers to deliver Company targets.
- To encourage positive relationships across functions
The Candidate
- You must come with an FMCG Foodservice background
- You must be a ‘hunter’
- You will be dynamic, ambitious, driven and hungry for success
- You will ideally live on patch – Cumbria/Preston
