Business Development Executive, EMEA

Our client is one of the UK’s leading Business-to-Business Marketing & Digital Services Company, specialising solely in the IT & Telecoms sector.

Due to continued rapid growth they are looking to recruit experienced marketing/business development professionals to join their enthusiastic outbound marketing team on a permanent or temporary to permanent basis.

The main purpose of the role is to make outbound calls to companies to speak with decision makers to market a specific IT/Telecoms solution, identify and qualify sales opportunities and arrange appointments for their client’s technical sales staff. Other outbound marketing activities include Event Support, Data Build & Cleanse, Opt-in, Profiling and Partner Recruitment.

You will be a tenacious self-starter, with the natural ability to establish a rapport and build relationships in order to identify genuine sales opportunities. Whilst this role is telephone based you are targeted on 'quality rather than quantity' and the calls are not scripted in any way. You will be an excellent communicator, able to think on your feet, and overcome objections. You will have experience and demonstrable success in a previous business to business customer service, sales or telephone based marketing role.

Suitable applicants must be educated to GCSE level/equivalent or higher, ideally with Business to Business experience in one of the following: Telemarketing, IT Sales, Telesales, Lead Generation, Business Development, Marketing, Internal Sales, Appointment Setting, Field Sales, Customer Service with upselling. Fluency in a second language is an advantage but not essential.

37 hours a week, (9-5pm or 8-4pm Monday to Thursday and 9-4:30pm or 8-3:30pm on Fridays).

Salary range £20,000-£22,000 per annum, pro rata depending on experience.

Our client will also consider candidates who are looking for shorter term temporary roles on either a full time or part time basis.
To succeed you will be results driven with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
