Business Development Consultant Field based to cover Manchester & Lancashire region Basic salary plus commission, OTE Circa £60k Our client has rapidly developed into one of the UK's leading business rates specialists. Through their expert knowledge and insight they have helped their clients reduce their business rates bills by over £190 million during the last five years alone. They are hoping to further expand their business by 50% over the next 12-18 months and are therefore looking to recruit field based Business Development Consultants to support their head office in Manchester. The main focus of these consultants will be to identify new business opportunities, to develop relationships and acquire new business. The key responsibilities of the role will be: To present and advise new customers on company products To develop new customer contracts through planned individual visits, to agreed volumes To maintain and record accurate reports/requests on new clients for future contact in order to aid client support team To utilise computers to retrieve data that is vital to each visit To record contact details on unmatched sales data for new marketing calls To liase with internal sales and support staff to aid customer development and satisfaction To attend meetings and training in order to develop their knowledge and skills Potential candidates will need to be self motivated, target driven and reliable.Be an excellent communicator, at ease dealing with clients at director level and flexible to travel If you are interested, please contact Kirsten Fisk-Burke onor .
