Senior Business Analyst- £60,000- London

This role is to be part of the senior business analyst team in the Operational Change Department

Job Summary

The role will be responsible for the business analysis, specialising in process mapping and identifying process improvement opportunities across a prioritised set of departments. The primary focus of the role is to understand the pressure points of service delivery to the business, map customer and internal journeys and establish how routine processes can be improved.

The role will deliver significant value to the business via process simplification/improvement, more effective use of technology, reduction of fee earning time on administrative tasks and delivering to their ambition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with Operational change to scope, map and design the ongoing change programme project systems.
  • Undertake business analysis business and legal services. Document process maps for the required current "As Is" processes, Identify opportunities for improvement and provide proposals for future "To Be" processes
  • Clearly articulate and document business needs/ problems framed in the context of the firm's strategy
  • Assist senior business stakeholders to make informed decisions around which initiatives to progress, priorities, and how to tackle the initiatives
  • Consider the impacts on existing processes and systems including the risk associated with suggested changes
  • Be a champion of innovation and change, creating a culture of continuous improvement

Knowledge and skills required

  • Business analysis experience ideally 4 years plus with experience with process mapping
  • Demonstrable proactive process design change in several relevant business service areas with deep content knowledge
  • Experience of requirements gathering tools/ techniques including: process mapping and modelling, workshop facilitation, interviewing and user stories
  • Experience of using VISIO IS ESSENTIAL
  • Experience of Six Sigma, SIPOC, BPM techniques or other recognised business process management techniques
  • Excellent communication skills in order to engage, lead and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Demonstrable experience of understanding business processes and how the processes and IT systems are used to identify needs/ problems and solutions
