Key responsibilities
- Full responsibility for payables and receivables
- Generating sales invoices, chasing payments and ensuring payments are made on time.
- Responsibility for bank transaction input and all bank reconciliations
- General Ledger duties: journal posting, prepayments, accruals, payroll and balance sheet reconciliations
- PAYE
- Pension management
- VAT returns
- Other office and financial duties

Desired skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently.
- Minimum of at least 2 years bookkeeping experience
- Good organisational skills
- Previous experience working as a bookkeeper or similar role
- Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Programs, especially excel
- Experience of working with a cloud-based accounting software is essential.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise efficiently
