This company are a long standing and successful print and design business that have traded successfully for the last 40 years. They are a hard working bunch that goes the extra mile for each of their customers and despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, they have continued to grow from strength to strength.

They offer a great working environment with every COVID safe safety measure in place to protect their valuable workforce and are now looking for someone with a real passion for accounts to come and be part of their happy team and join them with their ongoing program of growth.

They are looking for an experienced accounts professional to assume responsibility for all the day to day duties that you would typically expect from a standalone accounts role, including:
- Preparation of accounts to trial balance, journals, pre-payments and accruals.
- Bank reconciliations, Purchase ledger and Sales Ledger.
- Responsible for job progress system - from creation of jobs bags through to invoice.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns, Pensions administration, PAYE, Month & Year End Accounts.
- Basic analysis of account data to produce regular KPI reporting information.

As this is a standalone role, you must have previous experience in a similar role and be totally proficient, given that you will be the 'subject matter expert', when it comes to accounts.

You must be proficient with Excel and whilst knowledge of FreeAgent would be helpful, training will be provided.

They are a flexible employer who strives to help their team strike a good work-life balance, with that in mind, they are able to offer a high degree of flexibility with regards to the hours and days worked. Essentially the accounts aspect of the role would only occupy an individual for a maximum of 3 days per week (22.5hrs) so for individuals looking for full time hours, there is the opportunity to increase hours up to 37.5hrs per week with the addition of all office administrative tasks. Please note advertised salary is based on full time hours.

Their city centre location is close to the Potteries Shopping Centre so perfect for public transport links, but they do also provide free onsite parking.
