Billing Administrator – Competitive Salary + Benefits – Rutherglen, Glasgow

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Billing Administrator who will take responsibility for efficiently and accurately invoicing our customers, thereby reducing queried debt. Your role is critical to help us maintain our leading edge status within the industry and our reputation with our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a fresh challenge and develop your career with us!

The key responsibilities of a Billing Administrator include, but are not limited to:

  • Raising invoices through alarm master for assigned accounts
  • Raising valuations and consolidated invoices
  • Obtaining order numbers/purchase orders for clients
  • Attending invoice query meetings and addressing all credit control queries for own and team invoices raised
  • Raising credit requests as appropriate once agreement has be gained to correct client queries
  • Adding and amending contracts in Alarm Master
  • Liaising with Service Managers and clients as appropriate to agree methods of billing, presentation requirements and agreed rate/SOR changes

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Billing Administrator:

  • Prior administration experience required; an engineering background dealing with mobile teams is not essential but highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organisation and with clients
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills, able to handle multiple workloads and take responsibility in a key part of the organisation
  • Effective problem solving-skills with a high level of attention to detail in every aspect of work
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
