Midlands, Home based
c£35k to 45k d.o.e + 10% bonus, Company car, Private medical, pension, 23 days holidays +BH, full training to Lead Auditor and CPD

An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Auditor to work from home based around the Midlands to Manchester, to plan and conduct professional management system audits.
My client is a multinational Certification body, who are now looking to recruit someone with at least 2 years practical experience who is currently conducting third party audits.
We are ideally looking for quality professionals with a wide range of experience in different sectors where you have done internal auditing to at least two of the core standards.

If you are already working as an assessor for a notified body, we would love to hear from you as my client will offer a highly competitive package in line with your experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct audits (desk-based or on clients sites) in accordance with management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 27001 (or a combination of) with 9001 & 14001 being the main requirements) standards.
  • Maintain a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective customer relationships and ongoing business development
  • Complete all chargeable work within the required budget and timeframes to ensure customer satisfaction and efficiency of the business
  • Ensure completion of all assigned work and relevant documentation in accordance with required procedures and standards to fulfill customer expectations
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to assist the planning and management of operations


Person specification:

  • The successful candidate will have experience in positions with significant management system responsibility, and will demonstrate excellent working knowledge of management system standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 ideally,or a combination of, with 9001 & 14001 being the main requirements), compliance and auditing techniques, and the ideal candidate will have completed a recognized QMS or Lead Auditor qualification to the 2015 standard.
  • This is a regional role covering the West and East Midlands, and will involve a combination of office, client site and home working, therefore the successful candidate must hold a full driving license. We value the flexibility of Auditors and in return offer a supportive and rewarding working environment.
  • Experience of auditing in at least two of the following Industry sectors is required;

· Agriculture/ landscaping
· Waste Management / Recycling
· Construction
· Public Services
· Mining/Quarrying
· Utilities - Electricity/Gas/Water
· Transport/Storage/Communication
· Heavy and/or Light Manufacturing
