The Company:

Our client is a firm of Chartered Accountants and Financial Planners with offices across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. They currently have an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified Audit Senior to join their team in Norwich. The role sits within their large Corporate Service Group who are responsible for undertaking Audits for their diverse portfolio of clients.

Our client supports a dynamic, supportive and sociable place to work. They will continually support, invest and encourage your training and development and as such you will be working with a great group of colleagues!

Essential Skills and Experience:

Our client is looking for an Audit Senior based at their Norwichoffices.

The ideal candidate will be a specialist within this field and will have most if not all of the following skills, qualifications and attributes:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or very close to qualifying)
• Previous audit experience in a practice environment
• General accounting experience including accounts preparation
• Experience using Sage and Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft applications and accounting software
• Working knowledge of Corporation Tax
• Ability to support and supervise junior staff
• Have the ability to think clearly and quickly, identify multiple solutions
• Demonstrate a `can do` approach to problem solving
• Possess an awareness of project management
• Excellent customer service skills including the ability to tailor your approach provided depending on the specific client


Roles & Responsibilities

Leading audit assignments in a variety of industries such as construction, manufacturing and care homes, including groups with turnover to £250m

• Accounts preparation for Corporate clients
• Preparation of corporation tax returns and computations
• Supervision of more junior staff
• Providing reports/updates to Managers /Partners
• Effectively deal with client and HMRC correspondence
