Our client has a new opportunity for an Audit/Accounts semi-senior to join their team in Preston. This is a fantastic chance open for a hardworking, driven individual to join this leading provider of accounting, business advisory and wealth management services.

The Role

This full time role comes with an extensive benefits package which includes group life assurance and flexible benefits. This position involves a number of responsibilities which includes data analysis, preparing draft accounts, preparing draft tax computations for review, assisting with the planning, field work and completion of statutory audits for a range of industries. You will be expected to complete audit/accounts work within deadlines. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to kick-start their accountancy career with a company dedicated to staff progression and development.

Requirements

The right candidate MUST be part ACA/ACCA qualified or fully AAT qualified.
Have a minimum of 2 years’ generalist accounts experience within practise.
Show a good knowledge of auditing, preparing accounts under FRS and basic tax principles
Have a good understanding of auditing principles and practical experience
I.T literate
Highly numerate
Candidates with Sage Line 50 or cloud accountancy package (Quickbooks and Xero) experience will be prioritised.

The successful candidate MUST have a keen eye for detail,
Understand the importance of client services
Have the ability to conduct themselves professionally
Possess an enthusiastic approach to work.
