Permanent, Part time (25 hours per week – Monday – Friday, working hours approximately 09:15 – 14:15)
Term Time Only (36 weeks per year)

As a major provider of further, higher and adult education to over 10,000 students, their staff have quality at the heart of everything they do.


The Attendance Monitoring Administrator will be responsible for providing a professional, customer-focussed point of contact for all students and school staff with regards to the College’s attendance policy and procedure.


Effectively managing the attendance and monitoring process, you will set up and maintain relevant databases and record the reasons for absence on Pro-Monitor. Sending letters to students in a timely manner, you will respond to staff queries on attendance and produce reports for the school management team, through the use of the college’s electronic reporting system.


Hardworking and reliable, the successful candidate will have an excellent track record of delivering the highest standard of customer service and have integrity and accuracy in carrying out all duties. With good general IT skills including familiarity with internal MIS systems such as internet applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, you will have excellent general organisational and administrative skills and be able to work well under pressure and to agreed deadlines.


They are looking for an individual who has a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, who is a good team member and who can prioritise workload effectively. You will need to be able to work on own initiative, sometimes without supervision and have knowledge and/or experience of databases.


A qualification relevant to a career in administration and/or customer service is highly desirable but not essential.
