Assistant Wages Clerk
R&M Williams Building Group based in Cardiff and Swansea, comprises of R&M Williams Ltd, R&M Williams Developments; the Group Structure supports a combined turnover of over £40million.
R&M Williams Ltd undertakes projects within the public and private sector across a broad range of value bands in various sectors including refurbishment, heritage schemes, maintenance and new build projects for our clients in education, retail and health sectors and social housing.
Due to continued success they are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Wages Clerk to work in their Finance Department.
Collecting details of hours worked by our clients from multiple sources
Maintaining accurate records
Running payroll, to ensure correct take home pay
Collection and processing of personal expense claims
Calculation of statutory payments
Calculating pension contributions in line with auto-enrolment
Update and upload pension details
Recording starter and leaver information
Recording HMRC payments and advising finance
Dealing with queries from employees regarding pay/pension
Calculation pro-rata holidays etc
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working within a payroll capacity dealing with end to end payroll
Excellent verbal and written communication
Good organisational skills
Excellent time management
Proficient knowledge of Excel
Understanding and experience of statutory sick pay, wages etc
Proficient knowledge and experience using Excel
