An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Assistant Project Coordinator to join us in Luton on a full time, permanent basis.
Within this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Coordinator within a site to effectively manage their supported living projects of temporary accommodation. You will liaise with local authority partners and internal departments and will ensure appointments in their diaries are effectively booked and paperwork and IT systems are accurately updated.
In addition, you will assist in tenancy management, tenancy sustainment, income management, void and allocations and new property acquisitions administrational activities.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will deliver excellent customer services for tenants, landlords and local authorities and will take individual responsibility for doing the right thing at the right time, every time.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of delivering high quality customer services along with the ability to service several clients with different needs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be required for this position and you should be motivated, able to use your own initiative and have the ability to stay calm under pressure.
In addition, exceptional organisational and time management skills are important and you will have strong IT skills (Word, Excel and on-line systems).
Due to the nature of the role, candidates should be willing to undertake a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check and will have a clean full driving licence.
Although not essential, experience of temporary accommodation and experience of working in housing management within the public and private sectors would be beneficial.
Working Hours – 9am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
