An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Assistant Portfolio Manager to join them in Newton Abbot.
Within this role, you will assist the Portfolio Managers within a branch to effectively manage their portfolios of temporary accommodation. You will liaise with local authority partners and internal departments ensuring appointments in their diaries are effectively booked and paperwork and IT systems are accurately updated.
You will also be responsible for assisting in tenancy management, tenancy sustainment, income management, void & allocations and new property acquisitions administrational activities. In addition, you will be expected to respond to general enquiries from customers and internal departments.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of delivering high quality customer services coupled with strong administration skills. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will be motivated, able to use your own initiative and have the ability to stay calm under pressure.
In addition, exceptional organisational and time management skills are important and you will have strong IT skills (Word, Excel and on-line systems).
Due to the nature of the role, candidates should be willing to undertake a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check and will have a clean full driving licence as well as a road worthy vehicle available for work.
Although not essential, experience of temporary accommodation and experience of working in housing management within the public and private sectors would be beneficial.
