Assistant Manager – up to £25k + Bonus Scheme – Luton
My client is recruiting an Assistant Manager within a Hire equipment company to support the Branch Manager and help drive the business forward by getting involved in the Sales/ Customer Support and Service parts of the role.
As a strong communicator you will be heavily customer orientated, dealing with enquiries from customers who are regional and nationwide. You will deliver quotes and negotiate prices with key decision makers. Part of the role will also consist of closing deals with new business, cold calling through a database and chasing warm leads.
This role will also entail providing full support to the Branch Manager, this will include performing managerial duties and taking control of all deliveries and collections. You will also manage the drivers and their diaries.
You will have a strong work ethic and will have come from the Hire/Rental industry. You will be an experienced Manager/ Supervisor and have a natural flare for building and maintaining relationships, as well as managing staff.
