Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant on behalf of a key client based in the Hull area. This is a newly created role due to an exciting period of growth and will provide the successful candidate with an amazing opportunity to develop and enhance their skills under the guidance of an exceptional team of highly experienced Accountants!
Duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant will include:
-Preparing inter-company reconciliation and recharges -Preparing balance sheet account reconciliations -Analysing expenses and balance sheet accounts -Preparing and inputting month-end and periodic journals -Supporting with the preparation of forecasts and budgets -Assisting in the preparation of Sales & Margin analysis on a weekly and monthly basis -Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts for specific entities -Ad-hoc assignments and projects as required
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
-Minimum of 2 years' experience working within an accounting environment -AAT Qualified or equivalent degree level education -IT literate, including strong Microsoft Excel skills -Highly analytical -Very strong communication skills -Ability to work to tight deadlines
