This company is a successful, established O2 Franchise operating a number of retail stores across the UK. They are looking to recruit an ambitious, dynamic and talented Accounts assistant to join their team based at Head Office in Birmingham City Centre.

Main Responsibilities
- Producing monthly management report, P&L, preparation and filing of VAT
- Reconciliation of the company, Production of various financial and sales reports to drive business performance.
- You will be responsible for posting invoices, monitoring nominal ledger balances and transactions, and reconciling income, expenditure, assets and liabilities
- Sales ledger, purchase ledger, income audit
- Checking and reconciling supplier statements
- Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the nominal ledger
- Assisting with Banking and reconciliations

Desired skills
- Strong communication and numeracy skills
- Great attention to detail, and the ability to deal with constantly changing demand whilst remaining level-headed
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good working knowledge of Sage Account, Excel, and Outlook
