Administrator - Supporter Services

If you are an organised administrator looking to jump start your charity fundraising career, this could be the role for you.

Our client's mission is to transform the lives of adults with physical disabilities through partnership with their specially trained assistance dogs.

To help them create these amazing partnerships, they need amazing people and they have an exciting opportunity for a Supporter Services Administrator to support the Individual Giving team to maintain the accuracy and integrity of personal data held on their CRM database.

Administrator Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for providing excellent supporter care for our client's donors, sponsors and individual supporters, providing timely customer service to individual enquiries by post, phone, email or in person.

You will support the fundraising and finance team by completing daily banking processes, tasks and routines. You will be responsible for the data administration and stewardship of the My Amazing Puppy (MAP) scheme, including welcome pack fulfilment, monthly renewals and annual transfers.

Working with the Individual Giving Manager to send quarterly 'Pupdates' to MAP members, you will write copy, working collaboratively with operational teams across the organisation. You will work with the Individual Giving Manager to update and refresh MAP assets including website content and images, leaflets and stewardship assets, ensuring brand guidelines and design requirements are met.

You will support managing database and record updates, requesting changes to personal, contact data or marketing, communication of administration preferences. You will regularly review the database for errors, duplicates and incorrectly formatted data. You will ensure personal information about sponsors, donors, partnerships, volunteers and colleagues is treated confidentially and sensitively in line with GPPR and DPA.

Administrator Requirements:

- Knowledge of database systems and experience with database administration or data entry
- Good customer service skills
- Good interpersonal and team working skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent time management skills including working to deadlines
- Proficient in Windows based software packages including Word and Excel

You'll have a keen eye for detail and able to use your initiative to resolve problems and create solutions while acting with diplomacy and confidentially. Ideally you will have an understanding of charity and fundraising income schemes and the regulatory environment for fundraising from individuals including data protection, Gift Aid and fundraising codes of practice and regulation.

Location: This position is based at their rural training centre in Heyshott (Nr Midhurst), West Sussex. All their office-based teams are temporarily working remotely.
