Administrator Quality Assurance - Liverpool

The Company

Our Client are one of the UK's leading investment managers, a FTSE 250 company. Providers of personalised investment management and wealth management services for private investors and trustees. This includes discretionary investment management, unit trusts, tax planning, trust and company management, pension advice and banking services.

The Role

Recruiting now, they have a new opportunity for a Quality Assurance Administrator at their Liverpool office. The role will be to assure consistent quality of data maintained within the Client Static Data department.

Role Responsibilities:

• Establish, co-ordinate and monitor key data to ensure maximum accuracy and actively develop these monitoring processes to improve the data we maintain
• Work closely with internal contacts to recommend, plan and implement quality control activities
• Assist in the production of departmental information for inclusion in the monthly risk assessment, including relevant MI information
• Highlight key points to Client Static Data, Compliance and Middle Office via detailed reports, applying advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Develop new processes in line with procedural changes and regulatory updates
• Enhance department and organisation reputation by accepting ownership for the data that the department maintains, by exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Understand client documentation and the systems relevant to Client Static Data; Illumas, RID, Coric, Account Opening and Account Amendments
• Assist in the generation and quality check of client notification letters ensuring maximum accuracy. Operate a helpdesk dealing with queries from clients
• To gain excellent knowledge of other regular processes within the static data department, namely Coric (STR) Maintenance, new accounts, amendments and standing orders
• Dealing with various queries from fund managers and their assistants and all other group staff
• Assist with project work, training and offer support to other team members when required
• Maintaining departmental procedures in line with internal processes and regulatory requirements
• Provide training to other members of staff when additional assistance is required, and to provide support and guidance to new and less experienced colleagues
• Remain open minded to change development as well as wanting to improve your own skills and education
• Attend Disaster Recovery Days in Warrington as required

Essential Skills & Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C)
• High level of accuracy and concentration with ability to grasp new tasks quickly
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Self-motivated and assertive team player who requires little supervision
• Ability to build constructive relationships with other members of staff at various levels
• Ability to effectively prioritise workloads
• Ability to work to a high standard under tight deadlines
• Adaptable, flexible and able to accept responsibility for given tasks
• Effective problem solver, generating practical solutions to often complex issues
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable experience:

• 2 years industry knowledge
• Experience of internal integrated systems
• Fast and accurate keyboard skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
