ADMINISTRATOR – OPERATIONAL SUPPORT- FULL TIME, PERMANENT
Working with leading contractors, Total Rail Solutions provides operated and non-operated road-rail plant, sub-contracting services and labour provision that has supported some of the most prestigious Network Rail and London Underground projects.
Due to continued expansion Total Rail Solutions is looking to strengthen its administrative support team within its operations department based in Basingstoke.
Working closely with operations colleagues and supporting immediate line managers with ad-hoc work. The role of operations administrator will encompass duties to include the of raising purchase orders and the checking of client quotes, data entry and the archiving of historical operational data, the booking of hotels; reception cover during periods of holiday as well as attending and taking minutes at the weekly operations meetings.
The successful candidate:
- Will have strong, demonstrable administrative skills and be able to work to tight deadlines in a busy office environment with changing priorities. - A degree of flexibility will also be required, especially towards the end of the week, to meet business needs. - A basic understanding of Excel will be required for the input and transfer of operational and plant data. - Excellent organisational skills and a confident telephone manner will also be essential requirements for this role.
