Maternity leave cover - 8 Months


Based in the South East, we are currently seeking to employ an Office Manager for an 8-month contract

You will be managing this busy office to ensure the smooth operation of the business, whilst running the office efficiently. You will be responsible for communicating effectively with management and colleagues across the business units and the role will include some client interaction. This is an autonomous position where you will be working with projects and tight deadlines.

Day to day duties will include the following;

  • Dealing with incoming enquiries from clients
  • Managing the busy office which includes emails, phone calls and internal communication efficiently and promptly
  • Scheduling sales appointment
  • Co-ordinating and planning meetings
  • Diary management
  • Assisting with quotations and tenders
  • Managing external vendors
  • General administration duties
In short, this is a pivotal role for the management team who you will be working with closely. You will ensure the smooth running of the operational side of the business. You must be comfortable and indeed, thrive in a fast pace working environment. The ability to manage a broad remit is essential, along with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritise and multi-task.

Previous experience working in a busy office environment is essential. You will be a team player and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Due to the nature of the industry, a keen eye for detail and accuracy is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and TAS accountancy is preferred.

The salary is negotiable depending on your experience.
