Salary: Scale 3/4 Points 14 – 21 £18,029 – 21,987 p.a
Our client is a Further Education College offering a wide range of courses to over 5000 full time students and over 5650 part time students each year. The college currently works with over 50 high school partners, welcoming students from Bury and the surrounding areas.
They now have an opportunity available for an individual to join the IT Services, Estates and Health & Safety team to provide high quality administrative assistance, in a way which supports the work of the Team so that College objectives can be achieved.
Coordinating the centralised Help Desk function and maintaining and updating the Smartair Access Control database and inventories of all IT Services, Estates and Health & Safety assets as required, you will administer and maintain budgets and financial records and produce reports on financial activities; raising processing and monitoring purchase orders, invoices, credit notes etc
The role is varied and will consist more of Estates, Health & Safety procedures. The department is a busy department so experience in working well under pressure, meeting deadlines and a flexible approach to work are all required.
With a minimum of 12 months experience within a financial role administering large budgets and of operating a computerised financial package, candidates must be highly organised, able to work to deadlines and used to dealing with contracts. An AAT Level 2 qualification and experience specifically within an IT/Estates and Health & Safety environment would be ideal but not essential for the role.
