This company was born in 2020 from a desire to help event companies and charities which had seen catastrophic consequences during the COVID-19 pandemic. They are building an events business that provides central support and structure for Event Directors and Organisations to continue to do what they do best, putting on amazing events!

The first company to be brought into the fold was a long running UK events company responsible for Triathlon Weekends, Half Marathons and several others.

Based in South Somerset, the role will be extremely varied and interesting supporting our team in organising some of the best events in the country with the potential to become an Event Director yourself.

It will involve (but is not limited to) the following:
- Customer service - answering participant queries on the phone, by email & on socials
- Liaise with sponsors
- Event Logistics
- Procure event day resources such as race numbers & medals
- Book event contractors
- Liaise with governing bodies, local authorities, medical suppliers etc.
- Website & Social Media Management
- Attend their events

They are looking for an energetic, passionate individual who ideally has a love for sport and has perhaps taken part in events themselves. They need a team player who isn't afraid of getting stuck into a task.

Key Skills
- Excellent IT Skills, with working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office package
- Excellent communicator
- Works to deadlines
- Handles pressure well

They work extremely hard to make sure that their events run smoothly. In return for this, they take downtime when needed, they get together outside of the events for a BBQ here and there, and they celebrate their successes with a party at Christmas.

They have a flexible approach to their working hours. When they are busy with events they stay late and get the job done, but they use their quieter times to make sure that they have a break. They are also happy to accommodate home-working, as they know that being in an office all the time isn't necessarily conducive to peak productivity and are always flexible in terms of work:life balance.

Their office is in South Petherton (TA13), on a farm site with a wonderful Farm Cafe on site. It is quite rural, so use of a car will be required.

Their events take them across the South West and beyond for around 16 days a year (mainly Sundays, or Saturday evenings) and they will need you to be able to attend the majority of these - don't worry though, they are great fun and we'll give you time off in lieu for coming along.
