The Company

We are recruiting for an Administrator who will be supporting and working alongside the Safety Technologist at our clients Head Office in Northampton. You will deal with ad hoc administration tasks and maintaining data whilst gaining an understanding of legislation and the responsibilities involved within my clients industry.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience within Administration is essential (training will be provided on the more technical aspects of the role)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to be work on own initiative
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from entire team
  • Adaptability
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Good IT skills

The Job

  • Assisting the Safety Technologist with organising testing in line with applicable legislation and customer specific requirements.
  • Maintaining safety data on our internal system, Biblio.
  • Liaising with Production Controllers and Far East suppliers to ensure that technical documentation is gathered for each print run. This includes working on the Book Chain Project to complete a bill of materials.
  • Maintaining our supplier list to ensure factory audits are up to date and in line with our CSR policy.
  • Assisting our Sales and Operations teams with any queries or requests from our customers.
  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks.
  • Running reports.

The Package

  • 9am - 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch
  • 28 days, plus bank holidays
  • Pension - 4% employee contribution and 4% employer
  • Free parking available
