Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work for a leading global organisation and play a key role within a small dedicated team in the UK? Do you have a background in general reception and administration duties but have the drive and ability to go the extra mile? Office administrator required on a temporary to permenant basis to join an industry leading engineering business.

You will be working for an organisation with 25 years of experience working with leading automotive manufacturers fulfilling the technical and safety requirements. You will be part of a close knit team in the UK that have the mission to cover all of the technical areas required to obtain whole vehicle type approval both for EU and global markets across a range of vehicle categories. You will be responsible for the support and administration that enables the company operate efficiently and to be successful!

Key responsibilities include:

  • General receptionist duties including fielding telephone calls, coordination of post filing etc
  • Coordination travel arrangements: booking of flights, hotels and transfers etc
  • Facilities Coordination (stationary, coffee, meter readings, cleaners, weekly fire tests etc)
  • Packaging and shipping of goods.
  • Coordination of any specific events/visit.
  • Support Finance and Purchasing department.
  • Supporting quote preparations.
  • Proof reading of documentation

Experience required:

  • Previous experience in an administration role.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, or equivalent qualification or level of experience
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars is a must.
  • Prior experience in CRM and ERP will be assessed.
  • Demonstrate a wide range of skills including good interpersonal, organisational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoys working as part of a global team.
  • Organised, methodical and show attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
  • Fluent English.
