Administrative Assistant Production Department


My Client is a luxury furniture design company creating furniture of the highest calibre to an international clientele of interior designers and private clients. Their range of luxury pieces includes; dining tables, dining chairs, side cabinets, console tables, occasional tables and mirrors for high end residential homes, luxury hotels, super yachts and boardrooms. Models can be commissioned to the size and specification required and the service includes technical 2D and 3D drawings alongside quotations and timber samples for approval.

They are seeking an Administrative Assistant to work as part of the small production team, tasked with ensuring that our works and suppliers have the information and linkages to provide us with top quality products on time.


Supporting the Production Manager and the Senior Operations Manager

The Production Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:


The completion of all purchase orders to our works and suppliers with speed and precision.
Maintaining information on all pre-production issues.
Ordering samples and passing relevant information to the sales team.
Maintaining accurate and complete project files allowing the company to track progress on all projects from the simple to the complex.
Ensuring the Production Manager has full information on all relevant issues as projects progress to completion.
Cataloguing small stock and samples sent to the showroom.
Monitoring brochures and sample supplies and re-ordering when required.
Ensuring the provision of shipping logistics.

We are seeking a:

Mature, numerate and highly organised individual with an excellent telephone presence.
The ability to solve problems, recognise issues affecting the business and keep clear, concise records of transactions.
Experience of working within a purchasing department is ideal and the ability to work independently, yet part of a small, focussed professional team is important.
Able to work within a small company of highly energetic individuals who love the business and work together to make it a success.
