Administration Manager - Maternity Cover – (Office, Secretarial) BLUA3180
HMP Bullingdon, Bicester, Oxfordshire
Salary: £18,950 – £21,250 pro rata
Our Client is currently the largest national Provider of Offender Learning in the UK; their highly qualified employees are fully trained in security arrangements in order for them to deliver a responsive curriculum within prisons across England 52 weeks a year.
The aim of the Directorate is to lead, manage and develop provision in order to reduce re-offending and contribute to social inclusion by providing a wealth of curricula experiences including a core curriculum of Skills for Life, Personal and Social Development and work related training.
Working within the secure estate offers a challenging but extremely rewarding environment for the right candidate.
They currently have an initial 6 month contract for a Full Time Administration Manager to work in one of the Education Departments within the South East Region of the Offender Learning sector of the college at HMP Bullingdon.
The role of the Administration Manager is to, under the direction of the OLASS Manager, effectively plan and manage the deployment of the administration team of staff in line with policies and procedures.
Providing a comprehensive and effective administration service that supports contract monitoring whilst maintaining effective and efficient data relating to finance, personnel and learners.
Candidates must have experience of effectively managing a team ideally within a College office environment, providing effective and efficient administration and maintaining accurate electronic and paper based recording systems. The successful candidate will have strong literacy and numeracy skills and hold (or be working towards within agreed timescales) a level 3 qualification relating to ICT or business administration.
To succeed within this role candidates will need to have a pragmatic and non judgemental approach to their work and the flexibility to adapt to meet learner requirements when necessary.
